Advanced Step in Innovative MObility presented at Queensbay Mall (27 to 30 Nov 2008) - this is an artificial intelligent robot which has a very smooth movement, if not have seen her (assume it is a cutie) thin waist and bended leg, then i might suspect that it is a small kid inside the metal body.

The robot's height is 130cm and weight is 54kg.

We only managed to capture her rear picture in the crowd, meanwhile her front view taken from poster.

I am thinking that a robot can have sense? if all data accumulated from its experiences, and when it response based on the data, can it considered "sense"? meaning that, AI programmer may program it in many possible scenarios and reactions; and it may collects results thru its real experiences (which is "learning" in AI), then this kind of response which react on collected experiences might be a Sense? ......

Sense VS Intelligent

Even though I was not feeling well that day, but I still feel incredible that I lost in something I am most familiar with. From this experience, maybe ... maybe I can say I understand a bit of Osho's teaching which to teach us to follow sense than using intelligent. (I need to emphasize here that I am not his follower.)

Sometimes if you are too focus on something and using your intelligent to process it logically, then you might lost your sense which is unconsciously accumulated in your life-long.

Sense pops up in your mind in just a second, but intelligent might takes more than a second to process in your left brain.

You only need an overall picture to make sense, but intelligent needs you to zoom in to the case and analysis step by step.

Cubical ? Work in jail : Privacy

Who invented cubical for dividing the work space? I just back to my office for work, and I found that my new place is at the corner which bounded by two walls and two human-height cubical and need to fix in 2 ppl in 7' X 10' space. I need to choose either to face the wall or to face angmo who is sitting with me in this jail, for sure I choose to let my eyes to have at least 5'-far-sight which I can see the side looks of the angmo, and we are sharing a 5' table, which I only use the space of a keyboard & mouse & monitor, while the angmo taken more space for his papers.

You may define this workstation in programming language y?x:z, where y is a variable that you can assign it as x or z; cubical design can make you feel that you are in a jail or give you privacy, it all depends on the SPACE.

I would suggest that our labour laws impose a minimum space to install cubical in office! I DON'T want to work in Jail!!!

I hate insincerity

you can choose not to be good to me, i would rather you act cool to me but please do not insincerely be good to me, especially do not extremely kesi kesi be good to me.

I understand that there is a social needs to be good with ppl, so, i am ok if you be good to me and of course in return i will be good to you too. but there is a limit, please do not be too good to me which make me feel the insincerity.

p/s: this post has no relation with the "concern" post, this is another thought from another experience.

Concern? Fulfill own curiosity?... Kepoi?

Sometimes when some ppl keep asking your stuff, even you tried to make your answer "round smooth" and yet protected own privacy, but they still keep asking like a detective to dig your privacy, they mentioned this is to "concern" you, they said they ask because they care you and concern you as a good friend.

They know you are not welling to tell, they know you are not feeling good to answer, but they are still asking and keep asking even you had tried to give an answer that good to each other (which they can get the rough answer yet not reveal your privacy). They concern about your privacy but not concern about your feeling.

Is he/she concern about you or only to fulfill their own curiosity? this anwser only they know, but I believe you can feel it as you have sense.

In fact, the question that asked is not really a "privacy" ... just the way they asked make me not feeling well and not willing to tell......

Respectation - this is something missing in their mind.

the first person i received today was at 7.22am this early morning, from my boss - Helen. very surprising as not expected. Anyway, helen is not the 1st person, as i have received the 1st greeting at last nite 11pm thru skype...

Studying blog system

my boss wanted our website to have blog and encouraging staff blogging, developing a good blog system is quite a lot of works. I am testing out this blogger system and see how it works, and perhaps will use this instead of developing in house.
